## Getting started

  <Accordion title="Does it cost anything?">

  <Accordion title="Can I use Staffer without creating an account?">

## Your profile

  <Accordion title="Why can't I edit my name?">
    There's no name field on your profile page at all. If you're fully confirmed, ask your copilot to change it for you. See [Your profile](/candidates/profile-and-resume).

  <Accordion title="How do I stop companies from finding me?">
    Request full erasure to come out of every company's search right away, or ask one specific company to stop with a revoke request. See [Your data and privacy](/candidates/data-and-privacy).

## Applications and messages

  <Accordion title="Why don't I see my application in my account?">
    If a company reached out to you first, rather than you applying yourself, it won't show in your account until they move you past their first review stage. The private link they emailed you works the whole time regardless. See [When a recruiter contacts you](/candidates/recruiter-contact).

  <Accordion title="My link expired, what now?">

  <Accordion title="Did the company get my reply?">
    Yes. Whether you reply in Staffer or straight from your email, it lands in the same conversation the company sees. See [Messages](/candidates/messages).

  <Accordion title="Can I withdraw my application, and can I undo it?">
    Yes, from the application or by asking your copilot. You can't undo it yourself. Only the company can put you back into their process. See [Withdraw an application](/candidates/withdrawing).

## Interviews and AI

  <Accordion title="Can I redo an AI interview?">
    No. Once it's complete, you can't retake it. You can go back into one you left unfinished. See [AI interviews](/candidates/ai-interview).

  <Accordion title="Is the AI deciding?">
    No. An AI interview produces an evaluation and updates your match score, but a person at the company decides what happens next. The exception: a company can set up a screening question that rejects certain answers automatically. Then nobody reviews that answer before the rejection. ## Your data

  <Accordion title="How do I delete everything?">
    Go to **Settings** → **Privacy & data** and click **Request full erasure**. Your profile disappears from search right away. Full deletion follows automatically 30 days later unless you cancel. See [Your data and privacy](/candidates/data-and-privacy).

  <Accordion title="What happens to my data if I don't get the job?">
    It isn't deleted straight away. Each company sets its own rules for how long to keep it, and you might get an email asking whether to renew consent before an old application is deleted. Interview recordings and transcripts are always deleted six months after the application closes. See [Your data and privacy](/candidates/data-and-privacy).
