# Withdrawing

> How to pull yourself out of an application, and why it's treated as final on your side.

Changed your mind about a role, took another offer, whatever the reason, you can withdraw yourself from an application at any point while it's active.

## How to withdraw

Do it directly from the application, or ask the copilot to withdraw you. Either way, you're asked to confirm before anything actually changes, unless you've turned confirmations off for the copilot.

## Why it's final for you

Once withdrawn, the application is closed. A recruiter can still reopen it on their side if you change your mind and let them know, but you can't undo a withdrawal yourself.
