# Branding

> Set your cover photo, logo, and brand color, and see where candidates see them.

Branding is your cover photo, logo, and primary color: the look candidates see on your listings, your career page, and the apply flow. Set it from **Settings** → **Workspace** → **Branding**.

## The Branding page

| Field             | What it does                                                                                                                                                                                       |

| **Cover photo**   | A wide landscape image, around 1600 × 500 px. Staffer center-crops it to fit.                                                                                                                      |
| **Logo**          | A square image, at least 400 × 400 px.                                                                                                                                                             |
| **Primary color** | The color used on **Apply** buttons across your listings. Pick one of six preset swatches, or open your browser's own color picker for a custom one. There's no field to type a hex code directly. |

Both images accept PNG, JPEG, or WebP, up to 8 MB. Click **Save changes** and you'll see a confirmation toast. Staffer doesn't check that what you upload actually matches the sizes above, so if a photo looks cropped oddly on the public page, the source image was probably the wrong shape.

  The primary color is always picked by hand. Staffer doesn't pull a color from your uploaded logo automatically.

## Where branding shows

Your cover photo, logo and primary color appear on:

* Every published listing, except [anonymous ones](/companies/anonymous-listings). The **Apply** button uses your color.
* Your [career page](/companies/career-page).
* The candidate's private application page.
* Emails to candidates: your messages, rejection emails and the confirmation after someone applies with a résumé.

## Who can change it

Workspace admins and owners. Members can see the Branding page but can't save changes.

## Common questions

    That's expected. The primary color is independent of the logo. Pick it yourself from the swatches or the custom picker.

  <Accordion title="My image was rejected even though it's a PNG.">
    Staffer checks the actual file contents, not only the file name. If the file's contents don't match a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, it's rejected even when it's named `logo.png`.

  <Accordion title="Does changing branding affect listings I've already published?">
    Yes. Every published listing and your career page update immediately, with nothing to republish. Anonymous listings never show branding.
