# Members and teams

> Who has access to your workspace, and how teams split it into smaller groups.

## Members

See everyone in the workspace, their role, and any invitations still pending. Admins can change a member's role or remove them.

## Teams

Split a workspace into smaller groups, useful when different teams hire independently but still share one workspace. A team can have its own knowledge and its own members, layered on top of the workspace's.
