# Process builder

> Build a screening process from real building blocks: reviews, interviews, questionnaires, and gates that decide who advances.

No two roles screen candidates the same way. Staffer's process builder doesn't force them to.

## Mix and match steps

Reviews, human or AI interviews, questionnaires, file uploads, messages, general tasks, in whatever order a job actually needs. Sourced candidates and applied candidates can even walk different paths on the same job.

## Gates that decide, or that just flag

Set a score threshold and candidates below it hold for a human to look at, rather than being auto-rejected. Or opt into a hard gate, on a review or a questionnaire, when you genuinely want it to disqualify on its own. You choose which steps run themselves and which wait for a person.

## History that never gets rewritten

Once a step has real candidate activity on it, it locks. You can still retire it without losing that history, by archiving it instead of deleting it.
