Staffer is a hiring platform for recruiting teams. You describe a job in plain language, and an AI agent drafts the brief, searches for candidates, scores every candidate against your criteria and works out what should happen next with each one. People on your team decide who moves forward and send every message. Candidates use Staffer too, for free. They follow their applications, complete the steps you set up, reply to you and keep their own profile up to date.

Create a job

Describe the role to the agent. It drafts the brief: the job details, a role description and the criteria you’ll score candidates against, each marked Required or Preferred. Create a job

Find candidates

Ask the agent to search Staffer’s candidate database, add people yourself, or publish a listing so people can apply. Every candidate gets a match score for this job. Search for candidates

Shortlist and promote

Run your process

What the agent does, and what you do

What Staffer doesn’t do

  • It doesn’t write and send messages to candidates on its own. A person on your team sends every message. The only automatic emails are the notices your process sends, such as a link to a questionnaire when it’s the candidate’s turn.
  • It doesn’t reject or advance anyone because of a score. Candidates are only rejected automatically if you set up a step to do that, such as a questionnaire with a qualifying question.
  • It doesn’t import candidates from another applicant tracking system, and it doesn’t post your jobs to LinkedIn or Indeed. Listings go on your Staffer career page and the public Staffer job board.
