A job holds everything for one hire: the brief, the public listing, the hiring process, your searches and your candidates. You create one by describing the role to the agent in plain language. There’s no form to fill in first.

Create a job from a description

1

Start a new job

Click New job in the sidebar. The home page works too: the box that says Describe the role you’re hiring for… starts a new job.
2

Describe the role

Write what you’d tell a recruiter: the title, where the person works, full-time or not, and the few things that separate a strong candidate from an average one. One message is often enough. The agent asks a follow-up question if something important is missing.
3

Check the draft

The agent drafts the brief and the job opens on its Brief tab. It tells you what it assumed (for example that the job has no deadline) and asks about the gaps, such as a salary range.
4

Refine it

Reply in the chat (“make the TypeScript criterion required”, “set the salary to NOK 850,000 to 1,100,000”) or edit the brief directly and click Save. The top right of the brief shows Saving, then Saved.
When the brief looks right, ask the agent to search for candidates, or move on to the other tabs. See Write the brief for what each field does.

What gets created

The job exists as soon as the agent drafts the first version of the brief. It appears in your jobs list with the status Open, even if you never click anything else. Creating a job doesn’t publish anything or contact anyone. The listing stays unpublished until you publish it, and no candidate hears from you until you send a message yourself. Drafting the brief never asks for your approval, even when the chat is set to Ask permission. Chatting with the agent uses credits.

Start from a job you already have

There are two ways, and they don’t do the same thing. Duplicate job makes an exact copy. Open the job, click the … menu at the top right, then click Duplicate job. The copy opens right away, named after the original with “(Copy)” at the end. The copy is always Open, even if you duplicated a closed job. Ask the agent when you want a variation. In a new job’s chat, write something like “start from the Senior Backend Engineer job, but make it junior and remote”. The agent reads that job’s brief, drafts a new one with your change, and copies the listing and the process across. If more than one job matches the name, it asks which one you mean.

What to do in the editor instead of the chat

A few changes only work in the brief editor:
  • Clearing the location, the languages or all the criteria. The agent can change them but won’t empty them.
  • Turning on Hide on public listing for the salary.
  • Choosing hourly or monthly pay for a freelance job.

Common questions

Yes. The job is saved the moment the agent drafts the first version of the brief. It’s in your jobs list now.
Open it, click the … menu and click Delete job. Members can delete a job as long as nobody has applied to it and no candidate has moved past In review. After that, only admins and owners can. See Close, reopen or delete a job.
It drafts from your description and from what it knows about your company (see Company knowledge). If your company knowledge mentions a tool your team uses, the agent may add it as a preferred criterion. It says so in its reply. Delete anything that doesn’t belong.
No. Creating a job, drafting the brief and running searches never contact candidates.

Write the brief

Every field, and how required and preferred criteria work.
