Every job has its own process: an ordered list of steps a candidate works through after being pushed from a shortlist.

Step kinds

A step can be a review, an interview (human or AI), a message, a file upload, a questionnaire, or a general task. Pick the kind that matches what actually needs to happen at that point.

Tracks

Not every candidate should walk the same path. Mark a step applied, sourced, or all to control who it applies to, so someone who applied directly and someone you sourced yourself can go through different flows on the same job.

Reordering and locking

Drag steps to reorder them. Once a step has any real candidate activity on it, it locks: you can’t delete it or change its kind, since that would erase history. To retire a locked step without losing that history, archive it instead. Archived steps stop applying to new candidates but leave existing progress untouched. Next: Reviewer holds and score gates
