An AI interview step runs as chat, voice, or video, depending on what the company set up. Before it starts, you’re told exactly what that involves, and you have to acknowledge it before continuing.

What you’re told upfront

The session is recorded, audio always, video too if your camera is on. A full transcript is kept. An AI evaluation is produced for the recruiter, including a recommended next step, and you don’t see that evaluation yourself. The transcript also feeds into an automatic update of your match score for that job.

Why it asks you to confirm this

Being evaluated by an AI system for a hiring decision is something you’re entitled to know about clearly, not find out about later. That’s what the acknowledgement screen is for.

How long it’s kept

Recordings, transcripts, and evaluations are deleted automatically six months after the application closes, whether you were hired or not.
