Sometimes you don’t want a listing to name your company: a confidential search, a sensitive replacement hire.

What anonymous mode actually does

Turning it on doesn’t just hide your logo and name from the page chrome. Staffer generates a second version of the listing body itself, written without your company’s identity in it, since the normal version is drafted from your company’s own knowledge and would likely name you anyway.

What happens if it can’t

If the anonymous body would still reveal who you are, Staffer refuses to publish it rather than show a version with your name in it by accident. Fix the source content and regenerate instead of trying to publish through it.
Both versions are kept. Turning anonymous mode off and back on doesn’t regenerate or lose either one.
