The brief tab is a live editor. Change a hard field or a criterion there, or through chat, and the change saves right away. There’s no separate save step and no draft state to publish.
What editing does not do
Changing criteria does not retroactively rescore candidates already in your pipeline. A candidate scored against last week’s criteria keeps that score until something specifically triggers a new one.
What triggers a new score
A candidate’s match score updates automatically when they:
- Apply directly to the job
- Complete a screening step
- Finish an interview
You can also trigger a fresh score for one candidate yourself, from their Match tab in the candidate view.
If you’ve changed criteria significantly and want your existing shortlist reranked against them, rescore the candidates you care about individually from their Match tab.
